NOGALES, Ariz. -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers have assisted in the delivery of a baby at a southern Arizona port of entry.

Authorities say a 19-year-old woman arrived early Monday at the Morley pedestrian gate in Nogales with a man who told officers that she was in labor.

CBP officers helped with the delivery until emergency personnel arrived from the Nogales Fire Department.

After medics examined the mother and newborn, the two were taken to Carondelet Holy Cross Medical Center.

The name and hometown of the woman isn't immediately available.

CBP officials say it's the second time in less than a week that a baby was born at an Arizona port.

On Sept. 28, a CBP supervisor at the Douglas port assisted in the delivery of a child.

GOT THERE JUST IN TIME TO DROP ANCHOR!!!!
Good job! Free delivery, free hospital stay, now a free pass to flood our country with such an important culture! Make sure you sign up for WIC, food stamps but please, PLEASE do NOT forget to find a social security number so you can file taxes!! With a baby now, you are "entitled" to massive EIC dollars and all you have to do is say you own a cleaning or child care business and you can get thousands of more free money!!! Also, remember to get your obama phone!!
