GLENDALE, Ariz. -— Police in Glendale say a man shot in a stadium parking lot altercation during an Arizona Cardinals game has non-life threatening injuries.

Police spokeswoman officer Tracey Breeden says the shooting appears to be "fan based" but would provide no other details. She said Saturday that both men were wearing NFL insignia clothing.

Breeden says a man called police during the second-half of Friday night's Cardinals-Oakland Raiders game saying he had accidentally shot another man. He was detained for questioning but released pending more investigation.

There were few people in the University of Phoenix Stadium overflow parking lot because the shooting happened during the game. She didn't know if the men had attended the game or were there to view it in a nearby hotel or bar.

    Disband the Raiders
The Raiders need to be disbanded and try again with a new imagine in a new town. Why anyone would support this team anymore confuses me. Time for the team to speak out against this violence. It could have been an AZ fan that shot the guy, but follow a Raiders game via the local news and it always has some serious violence associated with it.
