Scottsdale Police are searching for a Texas fugitive, who crashed a recreation vehicle and fled the scene on foot late Thursday night.
Detectives were tipped off that the man, identified as Cody D. Lang, 30, was spotted at a motel near Scottsdale and McKellips roads. When police arrived and attempted contact, Lang took off in a white RV. He later hit a car at the intersection of Granite Reef and McDowell roads, disabling the RV. He had run away before police arrived.
The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
It is not known whether Lang is armed.
