LUKEVILLE, Ariz. -— An Ajo man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle more than 102 pounds of marijuana into southern Arizona through the Lukeville Port.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say 33-year-old Stoney Womack was taken into custody Thursday.

CBP officers referred Womack for a secondary inspection of his van. During secondary inspection, officers found 81 packages of marijuana worth an estimated $51,000.

Womack has been turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.

The vehicle and drugs were processed for seizure.

    Great job,
BP! Isn't it ironic that the dirtbag's name is "Stoney"? His drug-dealing co-horts in little mexico (aka south Phoenix) won't be too happy about this.

huh. Possible that this was not a smuggling thing to make money but to stock up his reserves.
