TONOPAH, Ariz. -- Authorities have identified the body of a woman found in the desert west of Phoenix.
KPHO-TV reported the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said Mai Vo Bor, 37, died after walking for hours in scorching temperatures after a car crash Friday that left her parents injured.
Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jeff Sprong said the family was on vacation from California and got into single-car crash half a mile from Interstate 10 and 411th Avenue.
Officials said Bor went looking for help around 6 a.m. The parents were later spotted by a passer-by.
Authorities found Bor's nude body a mile from the crash. Authorities believe she succumbed to the heat and said there is nothing suspicious about her death.
The parents are expected to recover.
