In an effort to save his wife from a Mississippi plantation owner, a slave turned bounty hunter is led by his mentor who paid for his freedom.
Bruce St. James said, “Oh, there WILL be blood. It seems that Tarantino is always trying to push the envelope. If his goal was to shock, he certainly hit the mark. From the language and use of the “N-word” (105+ times!) to the slow motion, graphic violence that must have required gallons of fake blood, this movie is extreme. The good news is that it is excellent as well. The actors obviously loved their roles and the story and while a bit long, it was thoroughly entertaining from beginning to bloody, bloody end.”
