What's New on DVD: Just in time for you to watch before you cast your vote, unless you've voted early like me, The Campaign starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifinakis. You can also get Safety Not Guaranteed which is a sci-fi romance film that some of the critics in the Phoenix Film Critics Society liked. Then there's Ruby Sparks by the folks who gave us Little Miss Sunshine.
Not Resting in Peace Yet: Months after his death, actor Sherman Hemsley has not been buried. At issue, a $50,000 estate he left behind. His will indicates it should go to a woman who was his live-in best friend. But a man claiming to be his brother calls that into question. Also, where the star should be buried is at issue. Some say he should be buried in El Paso where he lived for decades. But other says he should be buried in Pennsylvania close to his family. Details here.
Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show is caput. It won't return for a 3rd season. However, don't despair. There will be more talk shows to watch. You've got Queen Latifah, Bethenny Frankel and possibly Kris Jenner (as unbelievable as that sounds) will debut their shows next year, according to an ABC News blog.
This Looks Like My Kind of Movie: Based on a trailer, you've got a new drug called Soy Sauce that will take you on a trip to other worlds...literally. And it seems the fate of mankind is the hands of two ne'er do wells. It looks campy, cheesy and fun and you gotta love the title - "John Dies at the End":
Cute Animal Video: What could be cuter than a bear cub crossing the road in Yosemite? Two bear cubs crossing the road . . . and wrestling!
