There's a new movie coming out starring John Cusack
called "The Raven." This period piece reminds me a tad
of Sherlock Holmes (the Robert Downey, Jr. version), minus
the humor and a bit more dark because this series is about
Edgar Allen Poe.
Today's Cute Animal Video is an epic battle of the
ages. It's a tiny little cute kitten versus a giant
doberman. The kitten... is Pancake. Weighing in at
goodness knows how many ounces at 7 weeks old - he's out
weighed, outmatched and out fanged by Sugar Tree - a 2-
year-old doberman. Who wins? Now, would I post it if
there's bloodshed?
Meghan McCain is right. Democrats do get the better
stars to campaign for them. This time it's Beyonce
stumping for President Obama. If I was Mitt Romney, I'd
get Clint Eastwood on the phone, along with Arnold
Schwarzeneggar. They're A-list Republicans.
Sometimes people assume that if you're in the media you're
liberal or if you're a talk show host you're a
conservative. People always ask me and assume I'm one or
the other. But now I'm ready to admit what party I'm a
member. I'm a proud member of the Bacon Party. "The party founded to see
that bacon deliciousness be spread to every bacon-loving
citizen."
Comic Con was held over the last few days. I wasn't
sent to cover it. Am I upset. Yep. Why? Because I didn't
get to dress up like Wonder Woman again. AND I missed the
12 minutes of footage that Peter Jackson shared from the
upcoming film The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey. I
also missed some footage they shared from Iron Man 3 that
reportedly brought down the house, according to CinemaBlend. But the folks
at Fringe did give me a tidbit to share in the form of a
season 5 upcoming trailer.
According to the IMDB.com blog, at Comic Con, Guillermo
Del Toro wowed the crowd when he gave attendees a peek at
his upcoming film Pacific Rim. The
description of the film: "When an alien attack threatens
the Earth's existence, giant robots piloted by humans are
deployed to fight off the menace." Sounds like something
I'd want to see. I love a good interstellar alien attack.
